Home from AnimeFest, exhausted, and here's the quiz that [livejournal.com profile] rachelmanija promised in her LJ:

[Poll #814011]

Comments already! ^_^
seajules: (sanzo spark)

I almost went for broke, because I could easily see all of the above being the case. However, if at least one person didn't commission a picture of Sanzo with his shirt off, I will be very, very disappointed in fandom.

Agree.

Hmmm... I can't imagine anyone wanting a picture of the Third Hokage without a shirt, and if there were any pictures of Tales of Symphonia characters (with or without shirts) drawn, I wanna see! ;)

Characters from Loveless with feet stuck in glue.. thats.. uhm, creative o.o;

By the way, if that Ichigo/Renji commission isn't real, I'll pay you to draw it. ;)

Everyone says they will suggest something outrageous in comments, but no one has so far...

Did you... play paintball with people who were not aware they were playing paintball? Surreptitiously roll the shrimp-flavored type of rice crackers at booths you disapproved of, thus causing odor problems? Buy plastic swords and then reveal, much to the seller's surprise, that they were actually secretly REAL by chopping the head off of a mumbling, vaguely menacing cosplayer (though no one could quite identify what she was supposed to be dressed as), and then disappear, leaving oddly charred spots where your feet were? Buy a *manga*?

Oh man, those were so much better than mine.

Commenting from the stygian depths of HELL

Now reading my new copies of Hunter x Hunter and Antique Bakery by the light of the roasting souls.

I hope the light's good enough for proper appreciation of Hunter x Hunter. I generally feel it needs a disco ball.

I speculate that [livejournal.com profile] rachelmanija painted the con red with the blood of innocents, and seduced children into a vampiric darkness, sort of like in Anne Rice. And that it was outrageous.

[identity profile] rachelmanija.livejournal.com 2006-09-05 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
I did! I did!

[identity profile] bakkhos.livejournal.com 2006-09-05 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Hm, I didn't pick "something outrageous" when I voted, but now that you mention it.... I think when you took down Itachi wearing your "more special Sasuke" (power up level 2) costume (making a small child cry in the process, because really, who wouldn't cry at seeing Special Sasuke?), you threatened to go all Uchihacest on him if he didn't get Kisame to take off his shirt so telephase could draw it and sell this not-quite-porn to a 14-year-old. Itachi complied (with the request, not the Uchihacest), and one of the girls mentioned that she fantisized about half naked sharks. Thus you acquired a small entourage of hangers on.

Yeah. That sounds about right.

Uncanny!

[identity profile] naria-teal.livejournal.com 2006-09-05 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
"with their shirts on, for a change"?

oh, my, that gives it away.

but then again, i voted for all, because who wouldn't want all of that to happen at a con?

I got an eyewitness account of one of rachelmanija's exploits... you go girl! :) It sounds like much too much fun was had by all. Except, perhaps, my friend's Baptist dad. o.O

A young friend was at the Saiyuki panel when you "mortally offended" Greg Ayres. :) She was laughing as she told the story... and is planning on saving up for her Very Own Copy of PBR, since she liked your discussion so much. :)
