May. 31st, 2006 12:58 amI started poking around a few more Saiyuki-themed fannish domain name possibilities, after someone whose name I am too lazy to look up right now pointed out that 800mice.net was free. (As a reminder, in one episode of an HK dub of Saiyuki Reload Gunlock, Yaone's name was translated literally, as Eight Hundred Mice, and that was (still is? I haven't checked...ah, no, my journal appears to be 'attacked by vervets in teh ngorongoro crater' at the moment) my LJ title for a while.) I popped a couple more into the gkg.net search engine, and ...

I know, my Rules For Domain Names tend to go out the window when it's something cool. :D And no, I still haven't decided - I'm just enjoying the place I'm in right now, where I could go one way or I could go another. :D

Well, one of you has stepped up to the gauntlet and produced a wee bit of fic explaining the Jin pic. WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF YOU, HUH?
Speaking of fic, so far 100% of respondents agree that someone should write fic with Sanzo meeting Granny Weatherwax. Oh, fine, if you insist that the question was rigged, just look at the numbers! Thirty as of this writing! YOU CANNOT ARGUE WITH THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE!
And it seems that bishounen pie narrowly beats out Mello and Mello, while the simple addition of pie brings a certain desirable celebrity to a loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and a stack of manga.

In other news, I got horrific muscle spasms in my right forefinger shortly after I got home from work. It took ice and about 20 minutes to get them to subside, and my finger's still kinda sore. This is not incredibly good - I do get random muscle cramps in my fingers on occasion, but I rather need that finger for doing art with this week. Arg.
