Have dragged myself upright to order tickets for the Mythbusters live tour. Well, actually, I felt much better this morning when I woke up, which lasted until about 15 minutes ago, when I started dragging again. Alas. Am working from home for now - will quit and go nap when I can't stand it any longer. :P

Hmmm

Naturally, a few weeks after I got rid of my dead-tree version of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell and bought the ebook version, as the primary reason I hadn't finished reading the dead-tree version was that IT HURT TO HOLD THE DAMN BOOK UP, I find this on one of the Kindle deal blogs I follow:
Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke. Price: $1.99. Genre: Magic & Wizards, Contemporary Fiction. Rated 4 stars on 890 reviews. 864 pages.

ETA: Although it appears to have been yesterday's Deal of the Day and it's back to normal price now. So I don't feel so bad. :)

So I go into Toby's office to tell him I'm heading to bed. He's playing Dead Space 2, totally focused on the screen, wearing his earphones that block out environmental sounds. There's no way I can touch him or say his name in a way that will not startle him. So I go back into the bedroom and text him.

When he comes over, he thanks me for that decision. :)
